Jefferson City, Missouri — On January 13, 2025, 1879 Distilling Company, a Missouri craft distillery known for its dedication to quality and tradition, was recently honored with the distinction of being selected as the official spirit for the 2025 inauguration of Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe and swearing in of Attorney General, Andrew Bailey and Speaker of the House, Jon Patterson. The prestigious event featured 1879’s signature spirits—Red Barn Vodka and 1879 Premium Bourbon—at the heart of two exclusive cocktails crafted for the occasion.
The General’s Missouri Mule and The Speaker’s Show Me Old Fashioned were chosen as the standout drinks to represent the state’s rich heritage and vibrant spirit at the swearing-in celebration.
